1. Intended Audience and Eligibility
The website is intended for adults, surgeons, healthcare professionals, medical-device companies, researchers, and students. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding agreement.
2. Website Purpose
The website provides general information about SAPIENS research consulting, manuscript editing, scientific illustration, animation, and related services. The website is promotional and informational. It does not provide services automatically, create a professional relationship, or constitute an offer capable of acceptance. Services begin only after SAPIENS accepts a project and the parties execute any required service agreement, confidentiality agreement, quotation, or payment arrangement.
3. No Medical Advice
Website materials are educational and informational only. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency guidance, regulatory advice, legal advice, or a substitute for independent professional judgment. No physician-patient relationship is created through use of the website or communication with SAPIENS.
4. No Patient Information Through General Channels
You must not transmit identifiable patient information, protected health information, patient photographs, medical records, or other regulated health data through the website, general email links, or informal messaging channels unless SAPIENS has provided written authorization and approved a secure process. You are responsible for obtaining all patient consents, privacy authorizations, ethics approvals, and institutional permissions required for your project.
5. Requests for Quotations
A request for a quotation is not an acceptance of a project. SAPIENS may accept, decline, or request additional information about any proposed engagement. Pricing, scope, timelines, ownership, confidentiality, revisions, and payment terms are governed by the applicable written proposal or service agreement.
6. Fees, Cancellations, and Refunds
Unless a signed service agreement states otherwise, fees are payable in advance. If a client cancels within seven calendar days after SAPIENS begins substantive manuscript review, revision, or data analysis, SAPIENS may issue a refund of up to 50 percent of the applicable service fee, less nonrecoverable costs. After seven calendar days, after substantial completion, or after delivery of a substantive work product, fees are nonrefundable. Subscription entitlements expire at the end of the applicable billing period and do not roll over unless expressly stated in writing.
7. Intellectual Property
The website, brand, logos, text, graphics, layouts, and other website content are owned by or licensed to SAPIENS and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and print limited portions for personal, noncommercial reference. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, scrape, train models on, reverse engineer, publish, or commercially exploit website content without written permission. Ownership and licensing of client materials and project deliverables are governed by the applicable service agreement.
8. Materials Provided by Users or Clients
You retain ownership of materials you lawfully provide. You grant SAPIENS a limited, nonexclusive license to access, copy, process, edit, analyze, and transform those materials solely to evaluate a request or perform an agreed service. You represent that you have the necessary rights, permissions, patient consents, and institutional approvals. SAPIENS may reject or stop work involving suspected fabrication, plagiarism, unlawful content, unethical research, privacy violations, or infringement.
9. AI-Assisted Work
SAPIENS may use artificial-intelligence tools as part of drafting, editing, visualization, animation, or analytical workflows when appropriate. AI-generated or AI-assisted outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, or visually inconsistent. All outputs require qualified human review. The client remains responsible for final scientific, clinical, legal, regulatory, ethical, and publication verification. Specific AI-use disclosures may be required by journals, institutions, or regulators.
10. Portfolio Use
SAPIENS will not publicly display client manuscripts, confidential materials, identifiable cases, or commissioned work in its portfolio without prior written authorization.
11. Voluntary Payments Through PayPal
Any PayPal support payment is voluntary and is not a charitable donation unless expressly stated otherwise. SAPIENS J&B LLC is a for-profit limited liability company and does not represent that payments are tax deductible. A voluntary payment does not provide equity, ownership, authorship, influence, guaranteed services, or preferential treatment.
12. Prohibited Conduct
You may not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, transmit malware, impersonate another person, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, use the website for unlawful or deceptive activities, or submit fabricated scientific information.
13. Third-Party Links and Services
The website may link to third-party platforms. SAPIENS does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, terms, or privacy practices.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE WEBSITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAPIENS DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AVAILABILITY, AND RESULTS. SAPIENS DOES NOT GUARANTEE PUBLICATION, JOURNAL ACCEPTANCE, CLINICAL OUTCOMES, REGULATORY APPROVAL, COMMERCIAL SUCCESS, OR ERROR-FREE AI OUTPUTS.
15. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAPIENS AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR RELIANCE ON WEBSITE CONTENT. SAPIENS’ AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM WEBSITE USE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS, EXCEPT WHERE A DIFFERENT LIMIT IS REQUIRED BY LAW OR PROVIDED IN A SIGNED SERVICE AGREEMENT.

18. Binding Arbitration and Class-Action Waiver
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. Except for eligible small-claims matters or requests for temporary injunctive relief involving confidentiality or intellectual property, any dispute arising from the website or these Terms will be resolved by confidential, binding, individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its applicable Commercial Arbitration Rules. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this arbitration provision. Arbitration may occur remotely or in Osceola County, Florida. EACH PARTY WAIVES THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. The arbitrator may award remedies available under applicable law but may not combine claims of different persons without written consent.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs the arbitration provision.
20. Changes and Severability
We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.
